For all IVF and OD cycles that have been carried out between 1st April – 30th June we provide sperm selection with microfluidic chips and embryo cryopreservation (up to 2 straws) FOR FREE.
(this offer does not apply for a nativ cycle or a minimal stimulation)

Embryo cryoconservation

Cryopreservation of Embryos (embryo freezing) is undertaken if there are surplus healthy embryos following transfer.  A special freezing technique called vitrification is used for embryo freezing. This technique involves quick yet gentle freezing. Embryos are then placed in a cryobank and kept at -196 °C (-321 °F). Frozen embryos may be stored for a few decades.

The main advantage of cryopreservation of embryos is that it completely removes the necessity of hormonal hyper-stimulation of the ovaries.

Microfluidic Sperm Sorting is a chemical free method of sperm selection using a disposable chip. The method is based on the principle of natural sperm selection in a passage through micro-barriers imitating natural environment of female reproductive system.

The untreated sperm is introduced into the inflow and only motile and morphologically normal sperm are able to swim through the chip to the outflow where it is collected for use.

This method increases the success of a cycle by up to 25%.

  • maximum imitation of the natural sperm selection mechanism
  • selection of only high quality and healthy sperm with intact DNA
  • significant increase in pregnancy success rate
  • significant reduction in the risk of miscarriage

Microfluidic Sperm Sorting is a modern gentle alternative to standard sperm selection process which does not require any previous processing of sperm sample or use of devices such as centrifugation that increase oxidative stress in sperm.
